This Jet Black 1963 split window Stingray has undergone an extensive frame-off restoration with high-performance and creature comfort in mind and only 1600 break in miles. (Pictured with two wheel options) This ominous black Stingray has the best of the best of the two most desirable C2 design features, with the original one year only split window design and the one year only aggressive 1967 Red stinger hood over a fire breathing 427/600hp Dart cast iron stroker engine, topped off with aluminum heads. This is not an original, mind mannered 327 small block car. This is a black beast of split window Stingray that is built to exceed 600 horsepower and is highly optioned with power steering, new power 4-wheel disc brakes, new Vintage air conditioning. The original 4-speed transmission was upgraded to the new Muncie M-23, for smoother shifting and faster acceleration. The new red interior is all new more comfortable, Top Flight Automotive seating and looks incredible with new door panels, new carpet, new seat covers, new dash pads, new restored gauges/instrumentation, new knobs and stainless trim. The rear view of this Split Window Stingray looks factory correct, however the quarter panels have been professionally widened 4 inches, to accept wider more meaty tires and comes with a choice of the 18' and 19' inch Custom Billet Speciality, knock-off styled wheels an performance rated radials or the custom built 8 inch wide, original turbine styled 15 inch aluminum Knock-Off wheels, with Nitto Redline radials pictured on the car. Either option will put serious rubber to the road. The rear end has been upgraded to a bullet proof 12-bolt posit-traction with Tom's rear end differentials with heavy duty half shafts and 4.10 gears with heavy duty front and rear suspension bars. This sleek split window street beast looks factory original, but will definitely leave all of the other factory built 1963 Corvettes in the rear view mirror.
