From 1964 to 1973, Ford Mustang manufactured the first generation of a new class of automobiles which became known as the Pony Cars. To this day, the Mustang remains a favorite collector car icon. The 1969 Mustang model was the first to use dual headlights. On each side of the car, one was placed inside the grille opening and the other outside of the grille opening.
