CRUISIN' CLASSICS IS PROUD TO PRESENT THIS 1980 shay model a we just added to our showroom. this vehicle is a modern-day replica of a ford model-a. shay worked closely with ford motor company using their very own ford pinto engine and chassis. all of the shay bodies were made with a fiberglass body and they also offered five different body styles. unfortaunetly shay was unable to keep up with the demand of these vehicles and decided to close up shop. simply because it was only a team of four people building these vehicles.. this shay model a is dressed in a gloss yellow paint job with black running fenders and running boards. the rear rumble seat is fully functional and adds a great touch. the shay also features black wire wheels mounted on brand new firestone white walls, dual horns, spare tire mount, rear luggage crate and more.. the interior is equipped with vinyl black bench seat and modern gauge cluster to monitor your speed and fuel level. The 2.3 4cyl. engine under the hood is attached to a four-speed manual transmission and is also equipped with a modern 12v system. needless to say, this model-a replica gives you that classic look but with a modern drive-train making this car a blast to drive!
